Nutella Banana Bread

This is an easy recipe for a sweet weekend breakfast treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Chobani Hazelnut Coffee Creamer or Whole Milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Method

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a bowl combine the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt
  3. In a separate bowl whisk together the vegetable oil, eggs, creamer or milk of choice, maple syrup, and vanilla extract
  4. Once the wet ingredients are combined mix in the mashed bananas
  5. Once the bananas are mixed in, mix the dry ingredients with the wet until no streaks of flour remain
  6. Pour half of the batter into a greased bread tin
  7. Spread the Nutella on top of the batter
  8. Pour the rest of the batter overtop of the Nutella
  9. Bake for 45 minutes
  10. Remove from the oven, cover with tinfoil and bake for 10 minutes more or until a fork inserted into the center comes out clean
