Pumpkin Chai Granola

Granola is a really simple and fun recipe to make at home. This recipe is adjustable to fit your taste buds and could really be altered for any season. For fall- it’s great with a little pumpkin puree and chai spice.

Here is my Chai Spice recipe to use to make this granola:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons chai seasoning
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup sunflower oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl until the dry ingredients are completely coated in the wet ingredients
  3. Spread the oat mixture on a parchment lined baking sheet
  4. Bake for 12 minutes
  5. Remove from the oven and stir the oat mixture around with a spoon
  6. Pop the tray back in the oven and bake for 5-10 minutes
  7. When you remove the granola you should see chunks of the oat mixture
  8. Let cool completely before enjoying
