Happy Weekend! Start your Saturday off right with this easy meat marinade!
This is a perfect marinade for skirt steak! I like using it for steak tacos.
I usually marinade my meat overnight or put the marinade together first thing in the morning. I love grilling up the steak on the grill and then slicing it for tacos.
I served the tacos up with a corn and pepper side and cilantro-lime rice. Don’t forget the margs!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups canola oil
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large jalapeno seeded and diced
Method
- Combine all of the ingredients in a ziplock bag with up to two pounds of skirt steak or meat of your choice
- Let marinade in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight before cooking
This was so easy to whip up. I even had leftovers to make quesadillas with later in the week!
